GRF Series Graphite Furnaces

LABTHERM MoS series have The very new LABTHERM ACF-GR 210/5 series Graphite furnaces now extend our range of production to our highest temperature limit ever, to 2000ºC. Furnace is operated under Argon gas environment also under a vacuum level of 10-3 Torr level, based on Customer requirements. Several volumes of inner space are possible, all to be produced “made to measure” pending Customer requirements. The cubical geometry of heated space with graphite heating elements placed to both sides, give a satisfactory useful space for research and small-scale production, with a good life expectancy of heating elements. Insulation material is also graphite based, surrounding the heated zone with very high-quality standard backup insulation at cooler layers. The outer vessel of stainless steel is jacketed, and water cooled, optionally offered Chiller or with running water to cool down the metal casing. Precise temperature control is achieved by a sliding thermocouple and optical pyrometer combination. Optional independent Over Temperature system can be added but embedded Over temperature alarm is provided as standard. Turning off the furnace if the maximum temperature is somehow exceeded. Due to weight, GRF furnaces series have casters to easily move around. GRF series furnaces provide a perfect solution to Research labs and Universities looking for high temperature applications such as Carbonization, High Temperature Sintering.
