MLT Series Melting Furnaces

LABTHERM MoS series have LABTHERM MLT Series are small compact melting furnaces which are basically tabletop models but also self-standing and tilting models. These type furnaces can be used in application of small quantity smelting to non-ferrous metals. Tilting Furnaces also have a graphite-based spout to ease the pouring process 1100-1500ºC temperatures for smelting is available and with various graphite- based Crucibles. All Furnaces have a hinged lid and gas supply system can be offered as optional.

  • Furnace Properties: Low external temperatures and high inner temperature stability
  • Metal case: phosphate coated, and epoxy painted perforated finishing Low mass insulating high quality fibreboard - layered insulation. There will be a sideways moving lid on top.
  • Over temperature alarm relay; preventing over heating of the furnace, protecting the insulation material and the heating elements. (Purpose for this alarm is not for the protection of the sample and is not user configurable.)
  • Power Control Unit using silent solid-state relay (SSRs) Top quality switchgear components.
    Type N Inconel sheathed corrosion resistant thermocouple; with stronger durability compared to type K thermocouple.
    Electrically activated tilting facility OPTIONAL!! Optionally gas feed onto melt is possible.
    Related crucible for the melt is not included to this offer. To accept A25 type Graphite-Clay based Crucible.
  • Heating System: Wire heating elements placed directly around the heating zone Optimized surface load of elements for high durability and longer lifetime. Kanthal A1 quality Heating element locations for prime temperature uniformity
    Straight forward and user-friendly installation, with simple, convenient maintenance and exchange of parts possibility.
  • Quality Certificates: CE marked ISO 9001; The furnace will be thoroughly tested and provided with a QA report.

    Gas entrance and exhaust lines will be available on the lid Tilting for 90" is possible by electrically controlled actuator.
  • Outer case: phosphate coated, and epoxy painted steel body.
    Low mass insulating brick hot face - integrated with high quality fibreboard - layered insulation.
    Low energy consumption insulation utilized for a greener product.
